Cylinder Ring for the Ares Striker AS01/AS02 [GAP Pneumatics]

The Cylinder Ring is constructed out of high density, low friction black Delrin Acetal to provide smoothness and durability.  All edges are chamfered to further reduce the chance of the cylinder catching on anything within the receiver. Lastly, the Cylinder Ring is a universal fit without sanding and is easy to install and remove in the event that the bolt needs to be accessed.

Despite variation in cylinder outside diameter from one manufacturer to another, these rings are intentionally slightly over-sized to fit the widest variations of cylinder on the market without any sanding needed (with the exception the EdGI Nemo kit). To securely lock the Cylinder Ring to the bolt, a small amount of adhesive is applied and allowed to dry. Once the adhesive has settled, the cylinder ring will slide smoothly until it reaches the hardened adhesive that creates a raised area, friction locking the ring in place. Once the ring is on the raised area, it will not move at all during normal use, but can be easily removed by hand when the bolt needs to be taken out of the receiver.

*Using the cylinder ring alone will not maximize the smoothness of your bolt pull to its full extent. For best results use in conjunction with a 90 degree sear and preferably a low friction 90 degree piston as well.
